Kerala Air India Plane Crash: DFDR Recovered, Floorboard Being Cut To Retrieve CVR
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official has said, “Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) has been recovered from the aircraft. Floorboard is being cut to retrieve Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR).
The Air India Express flight that crash landed at the Kozhikode airport in Kerala has killed 18 people, including the two pilots. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said had the plane caught fire after skidding off the runway at the tabletop airport due to heavy rainfall. The Air India Express flight was carrying 190 people, including 6 crew members.
